Seven New Directors Elected to IMCA Board
Association’s Executive Board and Directors Announced for 2017-18
MINNEAPOLIS – Sept. 12, 2017 – The Insurance Marketing & Communications Association (IMCA) has announced their directors for the 2017-2018 fiscal year.
The IMCA Board of Directors Executive Committee will remain the same, as they are midway through a two-year term. The Executive Committee members are:
- Executive Chair – Anna Hargis, Shelter Insurance
- Executive Vice-Chair – Emily Hathcoat, CNA
- Treasurer – Valerie Foster, Berkley Alliance Managers
In late August, IMCA members participated in the election process. The IMCA’s 2017-2018 board of directors includes seven new directors.
Joining the IMCA board as directors are:
Susan Bonner, CAE, Director of Marketing and Agent Development, Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America
Patricia Dold, Vice President of Business Development, NASW Assurance Services Inc.
Christopher Nance, Chief Communications Officer, California Earthquake Authority
Hank Pinkowski, Manager of Creative Services, MAPFRE Insurance
Thomas Pytel, Jr., VP of Marketing & Communications, Nautilus Insurance Group
Amy Rosen, Chief Marketing Officer, People’s Trust
Peter van Aartrijk, Principal, Financial Services, CHROMIUM
All directors were elected to a two-year term.
“We are thrilled to have these individuals join IMCA’s board of directors,” Hargis said. “Our organization will be even stronger with these professionals joining our board. With their expertise combined with the current board members, we will continue our work to enhance IMCA for all of our members.”
In addition, three IMCA board directors were re-elected to two-year terms: Leslie Lash, Debbie Luera and Taylor Moore.
Current board members not up for re-election this year include John Abbott, Jim Flynn, Angela Kim, Lauri Klotz, Paula Negro and John Reints.
